Sometimes you get more than what you paid for. This is one of those times. I choose the Hellbabe HB0l for it features and mainly for the price. I was very surprised at the range of Wah sounds produced by this pedal. you can shape the Wah sound to what ever sound your after nice Sweep. I also have The Original Dunlop Crybaby, Let me tell you this was 2x more expensive and it sucks. It sucks your tone out of your guitar, It is so noisy. By comparison the Hellbabe is a better investment.

I didn't expect much considering that I know Behringer most often uses inexpensive injection-molded plastic to keep prices low, but this pedal is certainly not what I expected. In other wah and Cry-Baby pedals I have had or used in the past, they were fairly simple, a wide range of motion which would allow easy and precise control and simple mash-down button switch under the pedal for bypass or activate. In the HB01, however, there is no simple click-on/click-off, instead it is set up where when the pedal is all the way up, it sounds bypassed. It is a nice, sturdy piece of hardware compared to other plastic FX pedals, and has some features that some people may enjoy but I am left feeling like I need a more conventional Wah or Cry-Baby for my needs. The price was good and my money wasn't wasted, I do have a few good ideas for use of this pedal, it's just a little more complex to set up and I don't liek the way it sounds like a little latency and sometimes even a noticable click in/out on the bypass where I would have prefered a much smoother, less distracting transition and most importantly, not so noticable by my audience.
Pros:
+ It's a quality constructed piece of hardware, better than you might expect from being made of plastic.
+ Loaded with fine-tuning features and tone shaping.
+ It appears the battery is not in use when the pedal is in fully up position, where some similar pedals still drain batteries unless a bypass botton is clicked to the bypass position.
+ I like the added "Boost", so long as it's for a tune where I don't need to take my foot off of the pedal so the cutout isn't so distractingly noticable.
+ Price.
Cons:
- Difficult to set up and tune the first time.
- Requires a mini screwdriver inserted into a tiny hole to set bypass cut-in/cut-out timing (This adjustment would have been much better and earned another star, if it were made an external knob for quicker and easier adjusting. I imagine that if I ever take it appart to modify, this will be the first and possibly only change I make to it)
- Doesn't feel as precise to control as other pedals.
- If you were expecting a simple Wah or Cry-Baby pedal, this may seem difficult to get adjusted to use like one.
- The automatic bypass when fully released has an annoyingly rough kick to it, not as smooth as most others like it. (With faster playing styles, this feature will take time and practice to get the timing just right, regardles of any adjustments made to the bypass timing trim pot).
- The larger, chromed "Range" knob seems to be labeled backwards. The wider frequency range is wh
