Received this pedal a week ago, and it works great, It is almost entirely plastic (metal base plate) which makes it less sturdy than it appears in the photograph. The distortion is very nice and the adjustments work well. It does not come with a power supply, or a battery, and I took mine entirely apart trying to figure out how to get the battery installed. Turns out the pins on the hing push in and the pedal pops out (watch out for that spring). The 9volt battery goes under there. Once I figured that out, it worked much better.

The pedal works great. I thought the price was a very good deal now that i finally have more distortion i can rock away.
