Customer Reviews
Within it's class and price range, I'm giving it a five.
You'll end up paying a good 500-600$ to find anything better.
This has to be the quietest multi-fx I've ever used. Even the fuzz-wah doesn't give background hiss cranked up on my system. Except the buttons, it's all metal and pretty solid.
You can't edit effect parameters with the computer.
The pedal distance is pretty short and there's almost no resistance to it.
As has been said elsewhere, the fretless has quite a lag to it. Not useless, just a lag to get used to.
For the money, no hiss, metal body, a good selection of flavors, basic (and effortless to get going) drums and a pedal that can be assigned to about every parameter I can find.
It's the best unit in this price range, period.
I bought this about a month and a half ago from Guitar Center, and I haven't regretted the purchase. Some of the sounds are very similar, but I've found about a half dozen that I use every time I play. Given that buying separate pedals would have run me somewhere in the neighborhood of $400, this is a downright steal. That being said, I'm currently only a hobbyist, so I'm not out playing gigs on this or anything. I'd recommend picking one up so that you can figure out what sort of effects you like on the cheap, and then make a slower investment into better pedals if you decide to take your act out into the world.
