Astounding SoundsTremolo bars add a handsome shimmer to your guitar sound by detuning your strings and then returning them to pitch. And the sound of two guitars playing in harmony adds a soaring, heroic touch to an ordinary lead. The US600 is built to take the place of a tremolo bar AND a second guitarist. Its Real Sound Modeling (RSM) technology produces sophisticated algorithms that deliver the delicate harmonic overtones that are critical to creating realistic harmonies and transpositions.
Versatile SoundsThe US600 stomp box offers 5 totally different-sounding modes:
- Pitch Shifter: Adds a detuned signal to the original signal with a maximum of 2 octaves above or below.
- Harmonist: Adds harmonies to the original signal with a maximum of 2 octaves above or below.
- Detune: Adds a subtle detuned signal to the original signal with a maximum of 30 cents above or below.
- Tremolo Bar: Detunes the input signal with a maximum of 2 octaves above or below similar to the effect created with a guitar vibrato arm.
- Flutter: Detunes the input signal periodically with a maximum of 1 octave above or below similar to the effect created with a fast moving guitar vibrato arm.
Pitch Shift and Tremolo Bar pitch can be shifted from 0 to 2 octaves; Harmonist pitch can be tweaked to track 3rds, 4ths, 5ths, 6ths, octaves or double octaves. There's a separate 10-step Key select control for ensuring the harmonies fit the key in which you're playing, as well as Delay/Speed control and Balance to dial in how much effect you want to mix with a dry signal.

If it's what you're looking for (it's not Lexicon, it's not TC, nor does it profess to be) and you know how to use it you really can't go wrong.
Get one and have fun! Because it's not programmable I'm getting another.
I have been playing guitar for about ten years now and I am in no way a pro by any measure, but I can tell you that this pedal does do what it says it will do.
With that being said, it is made of plastic but seems robust enough to last for awhile as long as you don't abuse it. That means don't stomp on it hard, don't drop it, don't drag it around by the cord, or kick it around too much.
It does not come with a wall adapter so if you need one buy one. I can tell you that I did not buy the recommended Behringer adapter for this unit because I have probably saved every adapter from every electronic device I have ever owned! So I was sure that I had one that would fit (and I did). This pedal is very noisy when running off the wall adapter (definite 60Hz hum)so I'm not sure if it is my adapter or if the pedal just does not have any power filtering in it. I can tell you that even on battery power the pedal seems noisy. I have never owned a single function pedal before but have borrowed other peoples' and don't remember them generating this much noise. I own a ZOOM 707 multifunction pedal (which I love) and the only sound that comes out of it is from the guitar.
I bought this pedal so that I could get the sound needed to play "Seven Nation Army" and I can get the tone required but it sounds very digital (if you know what i mean). Even the tremolo function feels robotic.
Overall it's easy to figure out all the knobs and functions without the instructions because they aren't much help anyway. Set it up before you plug it in because that little LED on the panel is BRIGHT and will almost blind you to the point that you can't read what next to the knobs!
Well... if your looking for an inexpensive efx pedal then this one fits the description to a "T".
