What Is Delay?Delay is a synthetic echo that, in adjustable increments, repeats the notes you play on guitar. Each repeated tone becomes quieter than the previous one, until the repeats are no longer heard. This results in a thick, robust sound that can take on everything from the quick "slap" echo of classic rockabilly to the long, dreamy echoes found in psychedelic rock.

As much as people criticize Behringer for their cheap electronics, this actually sounds pretty good. I can see why people might hate it though, because the casing is cheap plastic and that makes it sort of difficult to get the battery cover on and off without breaking something. Other than that I'd say it's well worth the price though, $30 for a digital delay is pretty good if you're cheap. Its sound is pretty decent quality, and I'd say if you're looking for a digital delay pedal and you don't want to spend $100, buy this.

For the money (CHEAP!), this is worth getting. The loop feature is quite good, the delay/echo entirely satisfactory. Not as good as, say, a BOSS unit, but they cost 5x as much. Great for everything from slapback to long delay, with heap-big repeats available. The plastic housing might not stand-up to the road. Having the 9v adapter input on the side behind the in jack, rather than the back, seems wise. I've read some negative press about Behringer pedals, but personally cannot complain.
